One of the aspects of your work that I really admire is how you can take ordinary subjects and inject your own style and whimsy without making them look garishly cartoonish. They're just fun and happy and clearly yours. That shoe is so evocative and yet so simple. And congrats on the great profile in Quilting Arts! I finally got to it (making my slow way thru the magazine to savor it all) and I thought it was a wonderful article. Pam, I LOVE that shoe!
