One of the aspects of your work that I really admire is how you can take ordinary subjects and inject your own style and whimsy without making them look garishly cartoonish. They&#039;re just fun and happy and clearly yours.  That shoe is so evocative and yet so simple.

And congrats on the great profile in Quilting Arts!  I finally got to it (making my slow way thru the magazine to savor it all) and I thought it was a wonderful article.</description>
