Important Notes from Another Meeting
Lately I’ve been fascinated by drawing ears and noses. Since I’ve drawing in my sketchbooks on a regular basis, I’ve noticed an improvement since last November’s drawings. Since I draw with a pen, I’m thinking more carefully about each line as I make it.
Also, I often complain that I have bad handwriting, but never want to practice writing. It’s interesting that seems to be improving also as a side-effect of the drawing.

I have always wanted to be a journal person, but before now hadn’t been able to keep at it. I hope to this year, and that someday my entries will be as colorful and beautiful as yours!

Hi Denise, It’s funny you should say that. Actually I was at a meeting/presentation about “urban gates” and started drawing a stone gate that turned into that guy you mentioned in the corner.
I almost drew a football between his hands, but I think that was when the meeting wrapped up and didn’t finish.

I think the guy in the lower right corner of the last drawing is great. With all the hoopla and talk about Superbowl right now he epitomizes the look of the armchair quarterback. Ha! He could be the ‘chair’ in that pose.
