Annual Retreat 2008
February 16, 2008
I’ve been feeling kind of wordless lately, so here’s images from our retreat. Can you guess where these were taken? The full images are here on flickr. If you’re curious what our annual retreat is about, you can read more details on my blog from 2006.

Maybe a little San Antonio perhaps?
I also think it was San Antonio, TX. Great photos!
Definately San Antonio! beautiful photos…
Yup, I guessed san antonio too. gorgeous pics. I’ve never been, and would love to visit the riverwalk. hope you had a lovely time!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh (deep, luxurious, relaxing sigh): San Antone! I love it there! Hope you had a great trip…..and got your planning done too. Loved the bathroom tile pic.
xo
Yup, my guess was San Antonio too. Thanks for the eye candy!
Nice pics. I especially like the railing, boat/water, and shadows.
Oh, and the reeds–even thought it is a lot of sameness. I have no idea where you were! (I’m not that well-traveled, although some pics evoke Paris).
Looks like San Antonioa to me. Great museums there.
OK Come on, the Alamo is a dead giveaway! And I can’t believe you were here, I was teaching all weekend at the Southwest School of Art and Craft and we could have met in person.(Nope, that was THIS weekend.) Oh well. I am SURE you had a great time. The pictures are lovely. Susie
Blessings,
Perhaps its me, but eveything lately looks like a quilt! As a quilt maker and a studio artist, I can’t get away from nine-patch configurations, grids and patterns of textural textiles. I need a retreat too!
Sincerely
Marian in cold Chicago!
one only needs to see the “Rio” to know that you’ve been to where the stars at night are big and bright (clap clap clap clap)…Rio Rio or Casa Rio? mmmmm…Mexican food…
