I instinctively wrote that after a walk, but later had the same thought as you, that it was a haiku. So I got out some of my old haiku books and have been perusing them.
In one sketchbook, I’ve been doing a series of quick sketches with one line of comment, but I think it would be fun to think of making them more consciously into haikus.
I think it’s beautiful how you have directly connected your journals to your quilt-making. I hope to be able to do that some day.
