Just one more, then I’ll go back to bed….

One night I woke and sat in semi-darkness, hoping by not turning on the lights, I could fall back asleep. Finally I did, but not before I drew these little yoga doodles. It’s an idea I’m exploring for a new Yoga 101 project called The Cheese Curl pose. Only problem, I have too many ideas and can’t decide which I like best.

But wait there’s more! I guess it’s like cheese curls themselves — you can’t stop at just one.

  5. I like the first and the last best, but I think it’s because the colors are brighter. They are funny though! They all make me smile!

  6. Perhaps you could do squares with one pose in each square like PamDora was taking a class?

  10. They are all great, but if I were to vote I’d pick the upper left one in the top group and the woman in the green shirt with the pink pants in the second group (very PaMdora).

  11. Number one is number one! Plus the lady in orange pants from Number two for good measure :)

  12. You are too, too funny. Great imagination though. Love the girls! Pure happiness in seeing your work.

  13. These are so adorable!

And now I have to go and call my husband, who is stopping at the grocery store on the way home from work, and ask him to pick up some cheese curls!

  14. Oh no Lauri, Are you as weak to the power of suggestion as me??
Sounds like something I’d say, ha!

  16. Hey Merrilee, howareyou?!
I decided to call them Cheez Curls because sounds more cheesy, but that’s in the drawing that’s coming up!

  17. These are all great though, sadly, I relate most to the poor soul without color, bending over with her belly succumbing to gravity over the top of her pants.

  18. I’m thinking you’re right Vivien, every pose I do, there’s some tummy poking out. In the interests of full disclosure, I’d better put that into the drawing!

  19. What wonderful and delightful drawings! Very creative!
